Beit Trust has donated mobile C-arm surgical equipment to Beit Cure International Hospital in Blantyre.
The equipment will assist during surgical and orthopaedic procedures.

Speaking during the handover of the equipment, Beit Trust chief executive officer Andrew Pocock said the latest surgical equipment will help the hospital to increase the number of children to undergo surgical operations.
“With this equipment, we are hoping that many children will be cured of crippling diseases. We will continue to make awareness of the services we offer,” he said.
Beit Trust chief programmes officer Peter Kyalo said the hospital will focus on community mobilisation to give hope to children with deformities.
“We are planning to have this exercise in Lilongwe in June and we urge more partners to join hands with us,” he said.
On his part, Blantyre district medical officer Zaziwe Gunda said the equipment will help to make proper adjustments and corrections to deformed bones.
“The equipment will help to render better services to the disabled children and we will make sure that it will benefit all communities.

Chisomo Jeweza, a student at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences said she has learnt how to earn money and invest.
