The Malawi Police Service has arrested two individuals suspected of stealing a tent and a carpet from the government’s residence last night.

Senior Superintendent Peter Kalaya, the police spokesperson in the country, confirmed these developments.

Kalaya stated that the two individuals are Lino Richard and Jonas Harlod, both from the area of Chief Laundi in the district of Mwanza.

These individuals, along with the recovered items, are currently in police custody in Mwanza.
