An angry mob at Misewu Folo Trading Center in Mulanje District killed four men suspected of being thieves.

The incident occurred when two of them were caught breaking into a shop in the early hours of yesterday.

The apprehended suspects revealed the other two as accomplices, leading to the mob stoning and hacking all four to death.

Mulanje Police Spokesperson Sergeant Innocent Moses confirmed the incident, promising more details later.
