Alliance for Democracy (Aford) supporters on Thursday shunned President Lazarus Chakwera’s visit in Mzuzu where he is scheduled to carryout official duties.

AFORD supporters were scheduled to welcome Chakwera at Katoto roundabout but the supporters left before Chakwera’s arrival.

The party supporters were seen removing their party cloths from the Shoprite Mall round about.

AFORD is one of the seven political parties in the Tonse Alliance.

Meanwhile the party is yet to comment on the matter.
