Businessman Abdul Karim Batatawala, Elvis Thodi, former Chief Immigration Officer and two others have pleaded not guilty to the charges they are answering in connection with a procurement contract for the purchase of uniforms at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services wealth over 2 Billion Kwacha.

The other two accused are Fletcher Nyirenda , Commission responsible for operations immigration and Citizenship Services and Limbani Chawinga Deputy Director of the department.

Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to 28 February 2022.
