Justice of Supreme Court of Appeal Frank Kapanda has granted bail to businessman Thom Mpinganjira pending his appeal on his conviction and sentence.

The business tycoon Mpinganjira was serving a nine-year jail term after he was convicted of attempting to bribe judges who heard the presidential election case.
