General Alliance Insurance Company has handed over a motorbike to Patricia Kamoto, winner of the first quarterly prize in the Kuyenda Chokhala promotion.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the company’s customer relations officer Tayambaso Banda said the promotion has given a boost to its business considering the increasing number of new customers.

“We have seen an improvement in our customer base. The numbers are growing and this will definitely reflect on our business,” Banda said.

Kamoto, a resident of Blantyre, expressed gratitude to the company, saying she did not expect it.

“This is my first time to win in a promotion and I would like to thank General Alliance management for the promotion and urge those who are not yet insured to join the company,” Kamoto said.

Customers are asked to buy comprehensive or third party insurance to stand a chance of winning prizes.

The promotion started in October last year and is expected to end in April.

The grand prize is a Suzuki Expresso.
