Three Minors Die After Being Hit By Collapsing Houses In Thyolo

On a sad note, three children have died while seven others injured in Thyolo after being hit by collapsing houses following the heavy downpour.

According to Thyolo District Commissioner Douglas Moffat, the preliminary assessment indicates the Cyclone Ana has also affected 2, 560 households.

Currently, 179 people are in four camps in Traditional Authority Thukuta. The report shows that houses have been damaged, crops submerged and washed away.

Meanwhile, Makungwa Ward Councillor, Idris Gausi, has called for assistance since the affected households have lost everything.
