An American man has set the internet abuzz following his brazen act of endurance by way of engaging in an intercity swim.

He revealed that last summer, he swam from Brooklyn to Manhattan, which are both in New York, and he did it when there was less current.

The man simply known as Donnie documented his swim journey with a team who recorded him all the way from point A to point B.

According to the man, his only reason for taking on the challenge was to prove to himself and his co-workers that he could.

When Donnie reached Manhattan, some residents were on ground to congratulate him for completing a daring task that is rarely done.
