During a church service in Pennsylvania, a man, identified as 26-year-old Bernard Junior Polite, attempted to shoot Pastor Glenn Germany during his sermon.

The firearm malfunctioned, failing to discharge. Despite the scare, neither the pastor nor any congregants were harmed.

Quick action from a member of the congregation helped subdue and disarm the suspect before police arrived.

Pastor Germany expressed gratitude for being unharmed and commended the congregant’s bravery.

Polite was arrested at the scene, and charges have been filed against him.
