Malawian Musician based in London Queen Sheba, real name Rachael Muyepa has declared interest to contest as Member of Parliament in the forthcoming 2025 tripartite election.

‘Chiwanda Chovulavula’ hit-maker announced this through a statement posted on her official facebook page seen by this publication.

According to Sheba, she will contest as an MP on Independent ticket in Lunzu Constituency.

“Mukavotela sheba wavotela chitukuko, Mukavotela sheba mwavotela kuthetsa umphawi, kuthetsa katangale,kuthetsa umbanda. The change is here “Viva SHEBA. Viva!”, wrote Sheba.

Although, Sheba confirmed this a lot of Malawians have treated the declaration as a joke.

Queen Sheba is married to Malawian-born ex-UK soldier Brian Muyepa and have 3 children together.
