Information reaching this publication indicates that veteran politician Wakuda Kamanga hs been appointed as National Development Party (NDP) Vice President responsible for operations.

The development comes barely hours after Kamanga announced his departure from Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) where he was Secretary General.

Judith Mang’anda, who was also with AFORD, also has a new role at NDP as director of protocol and events.

Kamanga and Mang’anda were suspended in AFORD on grounds that they were working with Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
