Mulanje Police Spokesman Innocent Moses has identified the three suspects as Charles Macheka, the messenger, and two guards, Amos Sikani and Pearson Banda.
Moses stated that the three individuals are suspected of committing the offense on February 29, 2024 at the Treasury Cashier’s Office in Mulanje
None of the stolen items, including a motorcycle, a complete computer set, and an upright fridge valued at K6.2 million, have been recovered.
The three men have been charged with theft by servant, which is contrary to Section 286 of the Penal Code.
