Police in Mzuzu have arrested Emmanuel Daudi 28, for allegedly theft which occurred to at Hilltop location within Mzuzu City on February 07, 2024.

Mzuzu Police Assistant Spokesperson Constable Rose Chipyola has confirmed the arrest and said on the said date the reporter Mr. Dickson Msuku 43, who is a business man discovered that unknown criminals forcefully opened his motor vehicle Toyota Sienta registration number NE 905 and stole three Exide car batteries valued at MK780, 000.00.

“Police has been investigating the matter until yesterday where detectives conducted intelligence collection that led to the arrest of Daudi.

Meanwhile Police have managed to recover all the three stolen batteries from Mr Sosten Bonongwe who bought two batteries and remaining one from Mr. Aubry Mkandawire.
