Crocodile Kills Fisherman In Zambia

A 23-year-old man of Lupososhi has been killed by a crocodile while fishing in a local stream.
Sub Chief Mutondo has confirmed the incident and said Peter Kabaso is suspected to have gone fishing on Kasakalabwe stream in Lupososhi last Friday but never returned home.
He said his injured body was only discovered on Sunday after some community members launched a search for him. The body was discovered without the heart, private parts and intestines.
His left hand was also chopped off and was discovered metres away from his body.
The traditional leader appealed to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) to intervene in the situation and crop the reptiles in the area.
He said people have continuously lived in fear of crocodiles as they often attack them.
