Super League of Malawi (Sulom) is yet to release fixtures for the 2024 season, 10 days before the league kicks off.
This has resulted in clubs complaining that they are failing to plan properly for the coming season.

ready
A week ago, Sulom apologised for the delay in promised to do so before the end of the week after synchronising them with the Football Association of Malawi calendar.releasing the fixtures and
However, that has not happened and Sulom general secretary Williams Banda in an interview yesterday said provisional fixtures were released to all Super League clubs for their input.
He said: “The fixtures are out. But as of now we have sent them to the clubs first for their input.
“We will make the fixtures public once the clubs have made their contributions.”
But the clubs yesterday denied having received the provisional fixtures.
Silver Strikers chief executive officer Patrick Chimimba and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers board secretary Chancy Gondwe in separate interviews said they were yet to receive the fixtures.
FCB Nysa Bullets chief administration officer Albert Chigoga also said they were yet to receive the fixtures, a development that has affected their planning.
He said: “It is really tough. In such situations we simply have to wait and see.”
Football analyst Charles Nyirenda said Sulom was being unfair to the clubs.
He said: “Whatever reasons are there for the delay, someone must be sleeping on his job.”
“Look, we only have less than two weeks before the TNM Super League kicks off.
“By now, clubs were supposed to know at least the opening fixtures for planning purposes.”
The 2024 season is expected to kick off this Saturday with NBS Bank Charity Shield match between Silver and Bullets at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
