The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) plans to launch a 4.7 million vice chancellor’s trophy to identify talents and foster sports development in the country.
The tournament has planned to start from 29 to 31 march this year, providing students with an opportunity to express their athletic skills and their submission for sports.
The students’ representative council Director for sports Edmond Mandidi confirms the initiative that sports plays a big role in students’ development.
“Some of the sporting activities that will happen are, football, netball, volleyball, Bawo, chess and Tennis among others.” said Mandidi.
