Blantyre Police have arrested 69 people suspected to have committed various offences in Blantyre and Limbe.

South West Region Police spokesperson Joseph Sauka says 65 are male while 4 are female.

Sauka adds six suspects were already on the police wanted list for robbery and theft cases.

The suspects have since been charged with illegal vending, found in possession of cannabis sativa without licence, idle and disorderly, touting and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
