Martse Foundation has announced that it is organizing a memorial show for the late Martin Nkhata, also known as Martse, on May 25th, 2024.

Until his death on May 23rd, 2022, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Blantyre, where he was receiving treatment for severe injuries sustained from a fire accident, Martse was a well-known local rapper.

According to the foundation, the aim of the memorial show is honoring the legendary artist Martse and raising funds for Desks Initiative as one way of full filing Martse’s vission.

The memorable tribute concert, is expected to take place at Civo stadium in Lilongwe.

Martse’s music career began in 2004, and some of his notable songs include ‘Mwano’, ‘Zikomo’, Go Deeper and Adidas.
