Man Arrested for Selling Police Uniforms in Machinga

The district police publicist, Sergeant Wersten Kansire, stated that Pemba was arrested during a police patrol at Nayuchi border trading center.

Investigations have been initiated to determine the origin of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) uniforms.

Stanley Pemba, a 44-year-old man, was apprehended by police in Machinga for possession and sale of police uniforms.

Pemba was found selling fifty police camouflage shorts and pairs of trousers at the market.

Stanley Pemba comes from Lipogama village under Traditional Authority Lundu in Blantyre.
