Lead singer Peter Morgan, 46 years, of the Grammy Award winning reggae group “Morgan Heritage” has died.
He died last night (Feb 25), according to Jamaican media outlets quoting a statement issued by the band.
“It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son, and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage Peter Anthony Morgan has ascended today,” the group said.
The group did not disclose the cause of death.
Morgan Heritage is a Jamaican reggae band formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan, namely: Peter “Peetah” Morgan, Una Morgan, Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan, and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan.
