The Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has appointed Associate Professor Ngeyi Ruth Kanyongolo as The Third Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Malawi.

This has been confirmed in a statement released on Friday signed by ECM President Most Reverend George Desmond Tambala seen by this publication.

According to the statement, Kanyongolo’s appointment is with effect from March 5, 2024.

The First Vice Chancellor was Professor Anaclet Phiri and was succeeded by Reverend Father Dr. George Buleya as Second Vice Chancellor.
