State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also President for United Transformation Movement (UTM) on Thursday hosted his former teacher Francis Manjanja from HHI Primary School in Blantyre.

The development come barely days after Manjanja went to the media seeking an opportunity to meet Chilima and talk.

The two had lunch together.

Speaking in an interview with one of the local daily papers (Nation Publication Limited) Manjanja said he was happy to have his wish fulfilled.

“Ndimakhala ndi chimwemwe ndikamaona omwe ndawaphunzitsa akuchita bwino m’miyoyo yawo.

“Langizo kwa aphunzitsi anzanga ndilakuti tiyeni tiziwanyadira ana athu amene tikuwaphunzitsa, pakuti sitikudziwa kuti mawa adzakhala ndani,” adatelo a Manjanja kwinaku akumwetulira,” Manjanja was quoted as saying.

Manjanja was Chilima’s teacher between 1981 and 1984.
