Police in Blantyre have arrested five football administrators on allegations of conspiring to fix the match between Fomo FC and Mtopwa FC.
Fomo FC won the match 4-2 in post-match penalties securing a TNM Super League spot.
The South West Police Deputy Spokesperson, Beatrice Mikuwa, claims that the arrested suspects wanted to fix the match in favor of Fomo FC.
The suspects will appear in court after investigations into the alleged match-fixing plot.
