Over 140 young Malawians set to leave the country for Israel on Wednesday

Another group of 140 youths is expected to leave the country for Israel on Wednesday in labour exportation deal between Malawi and Israel governments.

According to Justice Kangulu of Arama employment agency which is facilitating the process, the chartered plane is expected to leave Kamuzu stadium for Israel in the early hours of Wednesday.

Kangulu says prospective employees have been oriented on what is expected of them and their employers before signing contractual agreements.

Meanwhile, Human Rights Activist, Michael Kayiyatsa, says the deal would ease high unemployment rate, government should provide detailed information regarding the recruitment procedure to address some of concerns about initiative.

According to the minister of Information, Moses Kumkuyu, over 700 Malawian youths are currently working in Israel farms in a labour exportation deal.
