Copyright Society of Malawi (COSOMA) has announced that it will distribute K505 Million in Blank Media levy royalties to artist whose works were registered under the association.

According to a statement released by Cosoma a total of K279 million will be distributed under the black media levy royalties to musician while K139 million will be distributed to authors/publishers and K87 million to film producers.

The association has also disclosed that about 54 Musicians whose works has earned them royalties in excess of K1 million will receive certificate of recognition on 17 January 2024 at Crossroads hotel in Lilongwe.
