An unidentified man has been found dead, hanging in a tree along Jereka river at Bwelero in Katema village, Traditional Authority Mankhambira in NKhata-Bay today.

Spokesperson for NKhata-Bay police station, Sergeant Kondwani James has confirmed the death and said that the body of the unidentified man was seen around 10:00AM by some ladies who were passing along the river.

Meanwhile, James says the man’s body is in the mortuary at NKhata-Bay district hospital.
