A woman suspected of killing a fellow woman on suspicion that she was having a love affair with her husband, is on the list of wanted criminal suspects at Nkhunga Police Station in Nkhotakota District.

Public Relations Officer for the police Station , Sub Inspector Andrew Kamanga, says the suspect, Rhoda Chinganda, allegedly stabbed to death 22-year-old Faith Mustafa on 24 December during a fight that had erupted over the matter.

“The suspect and her husband went to Mustafa’s workplace where they took her to Chinthomba stream to question her over the rumour that she was having a love affair with the man. A fight erupted and in the process, the suspect produced a sharp object and stabbed the fellow woman on the chest”, said the Nkhunga Police Station PRO.

He added that a murder case against Chinganda has been opened.

The suspect hails from Sikalinda village in the area of Senior Chief Kanyenda in the district.
