Limbe Police Launches Spotlight Magazine

Limbe Police Station has launched a magazine called Limbe Police Spotlight Magazine at Mibawa in Limbe, Blantyre.
Speaking during the launch today, Limbe Police officer-in-charge deputy commissioner Gladson Chipumphula said the magazine will help to educate and inform the community about the laws, thereby reducing the crime rate.
He said communication in any organisation is important; hence the decision to launch the magazine.
Chipumphula also said they plan to launch a website from which, important information about safety and security for Limbe, will be posted.
Blantyre City Mayor Wild Ndipo commended Limbe Police for initiatives to reduce crime.
The magazine, which is selling at K5000 per copy, has been printed with funds from FDH Bank plc, NBS Bank plc, Centre for Human Rights Education and Advice, Kukoma, Optichem 2000 Ltd, African Herbal, GM Plastics Industries, Rainbow Paints, Phalombe and Vitta.
