Human rights activist Bon Kalindo has been re-arrested minutes after being released on bail in Zomba.

According to Kalindo, the police are now taking him to Mangochi.

He was arrested on Monday in Zomba in relation to demonstrations in the city, and upon his release, the police, armed with a court document, re-arrested him.

“I am going to Mangochi; I am not afraid. They can arrest many times they wish, but this government is falling down,” said Kalindo.
