The Department of Weather has said that many areas are expected to receive heavy rains, which may be accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, starting from Wednesday this week.

Today and tomorrow, most of the southern and central regions will continue to be sunny and hot, but there will be thunderstorms in few areas in the northern.

This is due to the warm and unstable winds that are coming from the north.

Therefore, the department has warned people to always be in same places when it is raining, to avoid lightning and strong wings.
