Mzuzu Police has arrested Moffat Kumwenda, 21 for burglary and theft at Mzuzu Auctioneers and Estate Agency.

On November 26,2023 unknown criminals broke into the shop through roof cutting and stole money to an approximate amount of K11,000,000

Through intelligence, November 30,2023 Police have managed to arrest the suspect and recovered part of the stolen cash amounting to MK 792,000.00

Meanwhile investigations are still underway to recover the remaining balance.

The suspect will appear before court soon after completion of investigations.

Kumwenda hails from Balaula village traditional authority Mwankhunikira in Rumphi district.
