Demonstrations organized by political activist Bon Kalindo have commenced in Mangochi.

The protesters are expressing concerns about the devaluation of the kwacha and the rising cost of goods.

Currently, there is no police presence, but Kalindo has urged demonstrators to engage in peaceful protests.
