Mutharika’s bodyguard Norman Chisale Granted bail

The principle resident magistrate court in Lilongwe has granted bail to former President Peter Mutharika’s bodyguard Norman Chisale bail on seven conditions.

Among others the court has ordered, Chisale not to grant the media any interview regarding the case as well as pay a fine of K500,000.

Chisale is answering chargers of using insulting language, intimidation and obstructing justice

Mutharika’s bodyguard, was arrested a week ago and has been kept in Maula prison.
