Malawi National Football team, the Flames will today face Tunisia at the Bingu National Stadium in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Tunisia on the other hand, went past Sao Tome and Principe by a margin of 4-0, the Carthage Eagles is the most successful side in the group with six appearances at the FIFA world cup.
Meanwhile Flames Head coach, Patrick Mabedi said it’s now time to change the narrative and Flames can match with the Northern Africa’s side this afternoon at Bingu National Stadium.
“We know Tunisia is a good team but we do not fear them rather we respect them. We have struggled in the past against North African countries like Egypt but we learn and move forward”, he said.
Assistant Coach for Tunisia, Slim Ben Achour said they will need to maintain their good momentum and hope for a positive result against Malawi.
The Flames haven’t lost a match in open play and have managed six clean sheets since Patrick Mabedi took charge.
