In Mwanza, two motorcyclists have lost their lives following a head-on collision.

One of the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Baswell Michael, hailing from Faiti Village in Traditional Authority Nthache, Mwanza.

The second motorcyclist’s identity is yet to be determined. According to Mwanza police public relations officer Hope Kasakula, the collision occurred when Baswell attempted to overtake and collided with another motorcycle.

The impact resulted in severe head injuries, leading to Baswell’s immediate death at the scene.
