Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the North Jappie Mhango has called on party follows to desist from castigating each other ahead of the forthcoming 2025 polls.
Mhango said this as he was being introduced to DPP supporters in the north following his appointment as Vice President replacing late Honourable Goodall Edward Gondwe who served on the same position from 2014 and got re-elected in 2018 at the DPP Convention.
In his address Mhango said the party want DPP supporters to remain united and to avoid castigating each other.
However, Mhango could not comment on the recent court order asking the party to hold convention before December.
The meeting was also attended by DPP National Director of Youth Honourable Dayton Mussa, Regional Governor for the North Honourable Nzomera Ngwira, Director of Strategy Honourable Khwauli Msiska.
