Blantyre Resident Magistrate Court has charged, Lapken Thole aged 32, and Samson Chikwata aged 27, for illegal live streaming on Facebook a TNM super league match without permission.

The two have been charged with the offence of falsifying themselves as members of authority which contravenes section 101(1) (a) as read with section 102 of Communications Act.

The two were found illegally live streaming on Facebook a TNM Super League match involving FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Kamuzu Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium, they appeared before Blantyre Resident Magistrate Court and were granted court bail on Friday, 27th October 2023.

Meanwhile SULOM has warned all stakeholders that beaming live games of the elite league without having rights and following proper procedures is an offence and may lead to criminal prosecution.
