Army in Katsina State rescued 4 kidnap victims in Dandume Local Government Area on Sunday in collaboration with the police.
Police spokesperson in the area, ASP Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu, stated in Katsina on Sunday that the rescue was achieved during a routine patrol around Dankolo village.
“In a bid to ensure the safety of lives and property police, in collaboration with troops, rescued 4 people kidnaped at different locations in the state, and these people were identified as South Africans.
“The relentless efforts and dedication of our security forces paid off, resulting in rescue,” ASP Sdiq- Aliyu said.
He added that the victims had undergo medical examinations to ensure their well-being, and had been reunited with their families.
