The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has warned social media users to desist from implicating Minister of Information and Digitalization Moses Kunkuyu in the gruesome murder of Coca-cola Beverages employee Allan Witika.

On Friday last week, the law enforcers arrested Lester Maganga, a personal aide to Kunkuyu on grounds that he murdered Witika over a woman.

Following the arrest many people especially social media users came up many theories linking Kunkuyu and the Malawi Congress party (MCP) to the murder case.

But the Malawi Police Service (MPS) has trashed the claims.
