A crocodile has killed Makina Mindozo and wife Alinafe Wenason both aged 32, as they were trying to cross Kamoga river Ngabu in Chikwawa District.

According to Deputy Spokesperson for Chikwawa Police Station Chance Mfune, the two met their fate on 16 October this year as they were coming from Kamoga Trading Centre were they went for drinking beer.

Around Midnight, the couple decide to head back home using a path that crosses Kamoga river.

Over the sudden, the crocodile attacked both of them and when they shout for help ,a boat operator heard the voice and rushed to the scene where he found a dead bodies floating.

He reported the matter to the police where they take the couple to Ngabu Rural hospital for postmortem.

Makina Mindozo hailed from Mailosi village while Alinafe Wenason was from Chifule Village Traditional Authority Ngabu in Chikwawa district
