Two suspected thieves are battling for their lives at Thyolo District Hospital after being rescued from a group of an angry mob last night.

According to information at hand, the suspected thieves were caught red-handed stealing at Njale drinking joints in the area of Traditional Authority Mulenga.

The angry mob then set them ablaze but some well-wishers rescued the two and rushed them to Thyolo District Hospital.

It is said that the thieves were four in total and some escaped.
