UNHCR Repatriates 108 Refugees From Malawi To Burundi

The  United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in conjunction with the ministry of Homeland security have repatriated  108 Burundian individuals from the Dzaleka refugee camp to their origin home Burundi.
The departure which has consumed K139 million to accommodate every individual to flight  is through Kamuzu Airport has started today on 5 October 2023.
In July 2023, a total of 38 Burundians participated in the initial repatriation operation, returning to their home country.
