A suspected case of cholera has been reported in Zomba, raising concerns among health officials.

The affected individual is a student from the University of Malawi who resides in Chikanda township.

To confirm the diagnosis, samples are currently undergoing examination.

Meanwhile, health officials in Zomba are yet to comment on the matter.
