Political activist Bon Kalindo is appearing before court in Lilongwe today after his arrest on Friday for allegedly failing to honour bail conditions.

Kalindo has been on bail in a case of alleged publication of false news likely to cause fear and alarm to the public.

According to the police, the court charged and released him on bail with conditions, for allegedly uttering information likely to cause fear and alarm to the public on television, when he claimed to have knowledge of people behind the killings of persons with albinism.
