Angry villagers have in the wee hours of Tuesday set ablaze an identified man who was caught red-handed stealing in Thyolo District.

Thyolo Deputy Police Spokesperson Sergeant Rabecca Kashoti has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kashoti, the incident happened in the area of village headman Kalilombe, Traditional Authority Nchilamwera.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
