Travelers heading from Mzuzu to Karonga along M1 Road are currently facing an impasse at Namiyashi in Chiweta-Rumphi.

A truck traveling from the Karonga direction has blocked the road, leaving people stranded since yesterday.

This incident marks the third time in the past day that trucks have obstructed the road.

Chicco Contractors, the government-hired company responsible for rehabilitating the dilapidated road, is working diligently to clear the way for travelers.
