A police officer from Chunga Township identified as Joseph Mbao has died in unclear circumstances after a drinking spree.

According to the family, Officer Mbao returned from a drinking spree late afternoon on Sunday in a drunk state.

However, his wife found him unresponsive when she went to tuck him in bed.
