A motorcyclist has died in a road accident that occurred today in Mchinji.

Mchinji police publicist Limbani Mpinganjira has confirmed of the development and identified the deceased as Yohane Banda, 35.

According to Mpinganjira, Banda was riding a motorcycle which collided with a motor vehicle around Cheyad village along the Mchinji-Lilongwe M12 road.

The deceased hailed from Kamganga village, in the area of Traditional Authority Mavwere in Mchinji district.
