A 24 year old man, identified as Henry Kabuluzi has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment for defiling a 15 year old girl in Ntchisi district.

State prosecutor sub Inspector Dalitso N’goma, told the court that the accused committed the offence on June 18th this year.

He says on the day, the victim was going to watch a football game within the district and on her way, she met Kabuluzi who offered to give her K 5000 if she allows to sleep with him but the minor refused.

According to Ngo’ma following her refusal the convict used force by dragging the girl into a nearby bush where she defiled her.
